OSHA has set standards for workers’ permissible exposure limits (PELs) to airborne hazardous substances. Which of the following is the definition of the ceiling limit?
A) The employee's 15-minute time-weighted average exposure, which must not be exceeded at any time during a workday unless another time limit is specified in a parenthetical notation below the limit.
