A Note to Readers
The majority of our respondents to last week's poll said that presidential hopeful Senator John McCain's climate strategy wouldn't be effective. That strategy, covered in last week's Enviro Ezine, calls for an emissions reduction of 60 percent below 1990 levels by 2050.

In the news this week, we are giving you a summary of Senator Barack Obama's climate plan, which calls for an 80 percent emissions reduction below 1990 levels by 2050.

Take our poll and tell us if you think Obama's climate strategy would be effective.
