EPA Announces Plan for Underground Injection of CO2
Under the authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act, EPA has announced the first-ever rule addressing the geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide, which EPA's Assistant Administrator of Water Ben Grumbles describes as a "promising new approach of reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere."

The Agency has announced an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking soliciting public input on the effects of climate change and the potential ramifications of the Clean Air Act in relation to greenhouse gas emissions.

EPA Fines Gas Station $55,000 for UST Violations
