Georgia: Air emissions inventory deadline approaches

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires certain stationary sources located within select counties to submit an annual air emissions inventory report. The due date for these emissions reports is June 15, 2017.

The emissions inventory report must be submitted if a stationary source emits more than 25 tons per calendar year of either nitrogen oxides (NOx) or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and are located in any of the following counties:

  • Barrow
  • Bartow
  • Carroll
  • Cherokee
  • Clayton
  • Cobb
  • Coweta
  • DeKalb
  • Douglas
  • Fayette
  • Forsyth
  • Fulton
  • Gwinnett
  • Hall
  • Henry
  • Newton
  • Paulding
  • Rockdale
  • Spalding
  • Walton

All annual emissions statements must be submitted to be done electronically, using the Georgia Environmental Connections Online (GECO). Emissions fees are due September 1.
