Laboratory
National Summary
Laboratory testing is required under multiple environmental standards, including those covering drinking water and NPDES permitting. Because laboratories present unique hazards that need to be recognized and eliminated or minimized, OSHA has specific rules governing the occupational safety and health of laboratory personnel.
