The Obama administration decided against taking action to protect the American pika, a small mammal that dwells in western mountain ranges and considered on the front line of efforts to use the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to address climate change.
For the first time, EPA is providing web access, free of charge, to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Substance Inventory. This inventory contains a consolidated list of thousands of industrial chemicals maintained by the Agency.

In a letter to eight Democratic senators, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said EPA’s GHG tailoring rule would not require large stationary sources to hold prevention of significant deterioration (PSD) and Title V permits placing limits on GHG emissions any sooner than the first half of 2011.
All businesses should have an emergency and business continuity plan in the event of a disaster, either natural or man-made. Businesses in areas prone to hurricanes, tornadoes, coastal flooding, earthquakes, and other natural phenomena have first-hand knowledge of the value of a good disaster plan and the consequences of not having one.
To align with decisions made by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, of which the United States is a member, EPA has amended RCRA regulations concerning the transboundary movement of hazardous waste.
