BLR's Making the Business Case for EHS Wins Award of Excellence

Out of nearly 5,000 entries in the 2006 competition, BLR's guidebook, Making the Business Case for EHS, won a 2006 APEX Award for Excellence in Writing.

APEX Awards, run by Communications Concepts, are based on excellence in editorial content, graphic design, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

Making the Business Case for EHS explains how to get much needed management buy-in for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs. Written by Robert B. Pojasek, Ph.D., an international authority on process development and principal consultant for Excel Partnership at SAI Global, the book lays out the concrete steps that EHS managers can take to get support for their environmental and safety initiatives.

The guidebook features three case studies that explain in step-by-step detail how a small, a medium-sized, and a large company translated these principles and tactics into management support for EHS.
