Department of Agriculture - Gasoline blended with ethanol has a higher vapor pressure than gasoline alone. For gasoline-ethanol blends, Illinois adopts Section 2.1.2 of the Uniform Engine Fuels and Automotive Fuel Lubricants Regulations, NIST Handbook 130, which in turn adopts ASTM D4814. Although considered by ASTM several times, ASTM has not adopted vapor pressure exceptions to ASTM D4814. Handbook 130 therefore contains specific vapor pressure exceptions for gasoline-ethanol blends, but said exceptions

Notice of Lodging of Proposed Consent Decree Under the Clean Air Act
On September 29, 2016, the DOJ lodged a proposed Consent Decree with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in the lawsuit entitled United States v. Chemoil Corporation, Civil Action No. 16-5538. The U.S. alleges that in 2011, 2012, and 2013 Chemoil violated the Clean Air Act and the Renewable Fuel Standard by exporting renewable fuel without retiring at least 72.7 million Biomass-Based Diesel (D4) credits, which it was required to do. The U.S. further alleges that Chemoil failed

On September 29, 2016, the DOJ lodged a proposed Consent Decree with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, in the lawsuit entitled United States v. Erie Coke Corporation. The Consent Decree resolves the claims set forth in the complaint against Erie Coke Corporation for injunctive relief and civil penalties in connection with the company's coke by-product recovery plant located in Erie, Pennsylvania. 40 CFR 180 - Acrylic acid-butyl acrylate-styrene copolymer; Tolerance Exemption
This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of 2-propenoic acid, polymer with butyl 2-propenoate and ethenylbenzene, also known as acrylic acid-butyl acrylate-styrene copolymer, when used as an inert ingredient in a pesticide chemical formulation. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of 2-propenoic acid, polymer with butyl 2-propenoate and ethenylbenzene on food or feed commodities.

40 CFR 180 - Tolfenpyrad; Pesticide Tolerances for Emergency Exemptions
This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for residues of tolfenpyrad in or on vegetable, fruiting, group 8-10. This action is in response to EPA's granting of an emergency exemption under FIFRA authorizing use of the pesticide on agricultural commodities in the group ``vegetable, fruiting, group 8-10.'' This regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for residues of tolfenpyrad in or on these commodities. The time-limited tolerances expire on December 31, 2019.
