National Summary In addition to maintaining proper environmental records, submitting routine reports, and reporting spills and releases, companies must also be prepared to submit to state and federal inspections. EPA and OSHA may jointly inspect a workplace where hazardous wastes are managed and where hazardous chemicals are manufactured, processed, or used.
