Hazardous Waste Disposal

National Summary RCRA regulates the disposal of solid (nonhazardous) waste and hazardous waste. RCRA has extensive rules and restrictions covering hazardous waste disposal, including disposal facility permit requirements and land disposal restrictions and prohibitions. Disposal of hazardous waste includes the discharge, deposit, injection, dumping, spilling, leaking, or placing of waste into any land or water so that such waste or any of its constituents could enter the environment or be emitted into the air or water.       View sample documents Read the complete analysis
